Default need an expression stronger than "knocking on one's door"

You know, as in "suitors aren't exactly knocking on her door"? I need something stronger than "knocking", but seem to be drawing a blank right now...

Oh, it's "breaking down the door". Never mind, finally thought of it.

How do I delete this thread?
