    Wink ask for information

    Hi all teachers.
    In the word ɪnˈsted, I want to know what the meaning when the ˈ i is put after IN.

    Please do you stress only the vowel I.

    For the word "instead", the stress falls on the second syllable. It's "in-STEAD".
