    Default trip/journey

    Can I use the word "trip" and the word "journey" in the same contexts?

    Hi “jvaldelv”;
    First of all let’s check the meaning of both:

    a.Trip: going from one place to another; a journey
    b.journey: The act of traveling from one place to another; a trip.

    Now difference between these words:
    "journey" - time spent travelling from one place to another, especially over a long distance(long trip)
    "trip" - a visit to a place for a short time
    EX: "business trip"

    Best wishes
