    for/even

    Hello

In a book about meditation the author speaks about compassion meditation. He writes:

Over many years of using this meditation as a training aid you will see that you have become a very compassionate person for all life. It doesn’t take long to notice the effects that come from meditation, even for short periods of sitting. Study has shown that even practicing compassion meditation for a short period of time can help a person become a more compassionate person.

--- I think it should be "even AFTER short periods of sitting"?

--- And the 2nd sentence: Is the word "even" put in the right place?

--- I think it should be "even AFTER short periods of sitting"? The use of "for" is used as synonymous with "during".

--- And the 2nd sentence: Is the word "even" put in the right place? The use of "even" is placed properly and emphasizes that "a short period of time" of meditation can be beneficial.
