Hi all teachers.
I'm watching the lord of ring in English version to learn.
sometimes for me it seem that the movies use British English ,for example in this sentence
"Get down, cur!".
I didn't ear the r in the word "cur".
Please can you tell if it is American or British English in this movie.
Thank you.

The book from which the film was made is British. Most of the actors in the film are British. The maker of the film is from New Zealand.

Please give your threads more helpful titles. "Cur" or "The R in cur" would have been more appropriate.
I'm also moving this to the pronunciation section.
Thanks.
