    ...she is(?)

    Hello, I want to know the meaning of "she is" as in: Lenny makes jenny look like the wim she is. Is it a common English use? Thank you. vredes

    Yes, it's fine.

    He makes her look like she is stupid/intelligent etc. In this context "she is" is used with an adjective.

    Perhaps, but in the original, it's used with a noun. 'Wimp' is a noun.
    "Lenny makes Jenny look like the wimp she is."
    "He treated them like the fools they were."
    "Her memories made me recollect the man I [once] was."

    I agree with Alamshar's excellent answer.

    (1) All the other posters make The Parser seem like the idiot that he is.

    (2) British newspapers make the newspapers of other countries look like the boring publications that they are.

    (3) Shanghai's huge skyscrapers make Los Angeles's skyscrapers look like the low buildings that they really are.

    (4) The huge navy of the United States makes the navy of country X look like the pathetic force that it is.

    (5) Mona's good manners make Ms. X look like the rude and uncultured person that she is.

    (6) Language Z is so difficult that it makes English seem like the easy language that it basically is.
