Hello people,
I am again in trouble and need your help.

Am I correct in the saying the following sentence?

[FONT=Doulos SIL, Gentum, TITUS Cyberbit Basic, Junicode, Aborigonal Serif, Arial Unicode MS, Lucida Sans Unicode, Chrysanthi Unicode]Finally, that day will come for which I had been / have been waiting since 10 years.

Thank you very much.

It would be less unnatural as: "One day, the day have been waiting for for ten years will (finally) come.

Or, to avoid the repeated "for": One day, the day I've been waiting ten years for will finally come.

Of course... it creates some logical issues. What if that day is in 11 years?

Have you been waiting 10 years for this already? One day, the day I've already been waiting 10 years for will finally come!

Finally, that day will come for which I will have been waiting ten years.

Admittedly, that has the same problem that Barb identified. If it's in the future, you can't predict it, in which case you can't possibly know that you'll have been waiting ten years for it.

Unless ... you are now 30 years old. When you turned 30, you became unfeasibly excited about the prospect of turning 40. If that is the case then, yes, it is true in ten years' time the day will finally come (your 40th birthday) for which you will (by then) have been waiting ten years (ever since your 30th birthday).
