    HST

The following is from a brochure about the admission rate:

    Single Annual Membership only $35
    (rates plus HST)
    Family Annual Membership only $50
(covers two adults and their dependant children)

What does "HST" mean in this context?

    Thanks

    Re: HST

It could mean some sort of tax, but it's difficult to know without further information.

If the document you got this from is Canadian, then I would guess it's "Harmonized Sales Tax". I simply Googled HST and that was the first hit. It would have been quicker for you to do that than to ask us.
