    Question Use of Fan?

    Hi, I am new here.

I am not able to make out what should we say when we want someone to increase the speed of a fan/cooler/AC.

Should we say - "Please, speed up the fan." or something else?

Also, what should we say if we want someone to decrease the speed of the fan?

And are the expressions "Please switch on/of the fan" right?

    Thanks.

"Turn up the fan" - increase the speed

"Turn down the fan" - decrease the speed

"Switch on/off" is OK, but I prefer "turn on/off"
