    ended alley

    Hello there!
    What is the name of an alley which is not open from the other side? I guess something like one-way or a closed alley should be used.

    In AmE you could hear "dead end" for both alleys, streets etc., but "blind alley" would also heard.

    A dead end would almost certainly not be one-way

    Hello teacher. Thank you. Writing short would cause ambiguity to us, learners. I think the extended form of your sentence is as follows or probably there is misunderstanding.
