    Please help me with these

1.) A true leader to the spirit and an ardent fan of Netaji, Teja has been quite popular among his folks.

Is it right to say " A true leader to the spirit"?

2.) Donít be surprised if you see him gulping bulk of food in no time

Is it right to say " buk of food"? Can it replaced by something else? Please clarify

Re: Please help me with these

1- in the spirit of? = in a similar way
2- I wouldn't use it- try 'lots of', also, 'gulp' is more used for liquids
