Original sentence I saw is
"The Germans settled in East Europe followed Luther into the Reformation, as did the Teutonic knights of the Baltic".
And I changed original sentence into
"The Germans settled in East Europe followed Luther into the Reformation, as the Teutonic knights of the Baltic did.".
Did I change original sentence correctly?
And Is it right to understand the original sentence as
"Ther german settled in East Europe followed Luther into the Reformation. Because Teutonic knights of the Baltic followed Luther into the Reformation."?
