    Smile Teaching the conditional

What four things do students need to know before tackling the conditional moods?

    Re: Teaching the conditional

Why are you looking for 4 things?!

Anyway, the very first thing is that they should not compare conditionals in English with that of their first language, otherwise, they will get confused for sure.

    Re: Teaching the conditional

They would need to have a knowledge of the present and past tenses, aspects and be able to look at time and possibility. Also, the conditional is not a mood- the subjunctive is a mood.
