    It depends on the context!

    Having said that, I cannot think of a situation in which no article is required. That doesn't mean there isn't one.

    Surely you have posted enough in our forum to know you need to give us the CONTEXT. We can't tell you which is right without knowing how you want to use it!
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
