    invent/discover/develop a new medicine

We say 'Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming'. Can we also say 'invent/develop a new medicine'?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Re: invent/discover/develop a new medicine

It depends on how the medicine is created- he found it, but many are developed, etc.
