Hello

1. a. After getting, my parents made me take a walk with him every night.
b. Will you have me raise the dog?
c. He let me get a pet as I was good at my test.

2. a. The other monkeys were envious of getting bananas.
b. All of my friends are jealous of my dating Alec.

1 is about causative verbs and 2 is about gerund, I guess. If there's any, what's the incorrect sentence respectively? For me, everything looks grammatically okay.

Thanks for ur time.

Hello.:-D
My ideas are as follows (in blue):

1. a. After getting ............, my parents made me take a walk with him every night.
I feel something is missing after 'getting'.

b. Will you have me raise the dog?
I feel the word beginning with 'l...' (instead of 'had') sounds better.

c. He let me get (have) a pet as I was good at my test.
I'd prefer to use 'I d.... well(good) on(in) my test.' rather than 'I was good at my test'.

2. a. The other monkeys were envious of ............ getting bananas.
Again, I feel something is missing in the '..........' part.

b. All of my friends are jealous of my dating Alec.
I feel this one is OK.

I might be wrong (if so, please forgive me...).
Good luck!:-D

P.S. It would be advisable for you to start separate threads for separate questions.:-D

1b and 1c are acceptable, but a little bit awkward. 2b is 100% correct.

1a makes me ask "getting what?"
In 2a, getting bananas can't be the object of "envious of". The monkeys need to be envious of some thing or someone.

Here's some revision:

After getting a puppy, my parents made me take a walk with him every night.

All the other monkeys were envious of the ones getting bananas. ( "The ones" takes the place of "the monkeys" who were receiving bananas. It is necessary to have "the ones" in this sentence.)
