    Which of the following options is more correct?
    When they see a red light rather than stop/
    stopping drivers go faster

    "Rather than stopping drivers go faster when they see the red light"

    Google suggests that the two forms are very close:
    "rather than stopping"- 63,500
    "rather than stop"- 52,900
    They both sound Ok to me.
