Are these sentences correct? Please help me make correction

1) I parked my car at the private car park because it allow me to park for longer duration limit than the public parking lot on street that have shorter duration limit.

2) I parked the car at the private carpark because it has a longer parking duration as compare to public parking lot which has shorter parking duration limit.

Am I writing these sentences correctly?

1) I usually parked my car for a duration longer than intended therefore, I would pay more to get more time.
2) I usually purchased more parking time than intended, so that I wil be safe.

2) Private car park/parking lot usually have long term parking lot.

Small changes.

But honestly, I would remove car parks and just have parking lots.

'I usually paid extra to get more parking time than I thought I would need, to be on the safe side.'
