    Which is correct:
    1-This time our work is not what we do usually and we are really enjoying what we are doing.

    2-This time our work is not what we do usually and we are really enjoying what we do.

    Thank you very much Rover,

    We usually have a certain type of task. This time we have been asked to do something different and we are enjoying carrying out this new task.
    a-We are enjoying what we are doing.
    b-We are enjoying what we do.

    I think "a" is correct and "b" is not.

    Hi,

    Why not simply say "we are enjoying the change"? Thus, the simple present/present continuous trouble at the end of the sentence is avoided.

    You are right. That would be the easy way out and the one I would have chosen in a conversation. But here I was trying to see how the tenses would be used, not only in this particular context, but in similar ones as well.
