    Default "state of mind"

What does "state of mind" mean?
Does it mean what you feel or what you think or what exactly?
    Thanks.

Your state of mind is your present attitude or mood. According to Dictionary.com:

n 1: a temporary psychological state [syn: frame of mind] 2: the state of a person's cognitive processes [syn: cognitive state]

    Thanks a lot.
But can you give me an example? I read many definitions but still did not grasp it.

So, if my state of mind today is not well, what does that mean?
Does it mean I'll be be angry or I'll be unable to concentrate or what?

If my state of mind is good, what does that imply?

    Thanks again. :)

My state of mind today is not good-- there is no indication of my specific mood; I may be angry, upset, confused or sad. I will have to explain further in order to communicate that information:

My state of mind today is not good; I have missed the project deadline / my father died / I just had a run-in with the police / etc.

Thats a lot for your input.

Actually the word "mind" n English is very confusing, omething it can refer to what is in your head and sometimes it can refer to what is in your hears (i.e. emotions as in state of mind)!

    Thanks again :)
