Hello everyone,

I am currently listening to an audiobook, Sense and Sensibility, from the LibriVox collection. As I am non-native speaker, it is hard for me to distinguish the accent of the reader though I guess it is British. May I know if anyone here, especially English native speaker, can help me with this? It would even be more appreciated if you could tell me what regional accent it is.
Here is the link:
LibriVox » Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen version 4

Thank you!

Thank you for your reminder. Actually, I have read her webpage before. But because she siad:" I was born in Northern England. I've lived in several different countries; England, the US, Argentina and Mexico. I am fluent in Spanish
...", I wonder if her accent is still British or has been influenced by other accents like the American one. Therefore, I think it will be more reliable than my own guessing based on her webpage if a native speaker listens to the recording.

By the way, what do you think about her accent? British? Any regional accent? Thanks a lot! :)

Her accent is still British. I can detect no strong regional characteristics.

Thank you for your reply. By the way, when we say somebody speaking with no strong regional characteristics, does it mean that his/ her accent is close to the standard RP accent?
