Default Does "variations" here means "examples"?

    Hi teachers,

It is, of course, impossible to describe the innumerable variations of those answers.
    Does "variations" here means "examples"?

    Many thanks.

No, it means the answers vary.

Where did you find this? It seems to me almost entirely vacuous. 'Innumerable' is a description. And in any case, what is 'innumerable' is not the answers. One can work out what it means , but I find writers who just throw more-or-less appropriate words at an idea and leave it the poor readers to sort out the meaning a bit tiresome! And when they start off by saying 'of course'...

    Thank you. Carry on please...
