    Default grammar problem :(

    Thanks very much Emsr2d2.

    Can you help me with another passage as well ?
    In the following passage one word has been omitted in each line and we need to find that omitted word. need desperate help.

    Children have to made to
    understand being pulled
    up scoring low marks, reprimanding
    for a certain behaviour or criticised
    in front of the class something
    that happen to anyone - a regular
    part school life because most of the
    time they begin think" why me " ?

    2) Christian adams Germany combines his
    two passions- playing the violin cycling
    backwards- create world records. In
    2007, cycled backwards through a
    motorway tunnel in Switzerland playing
    a composition famed music composer
    Bach. The feat earned a place in the record
    books. Christian covered a distance of 60 kms.

    3) Clowns been a part of
    many cultures and kingdom
    but without a purpose.
    Ancient Greece boasts the
    existence of earliest of clowns.
    They bald-headed
    figures main role in mimes
    and pantomimes was evoke laughter.

    I know the answers but still want to check some. any help would be highly appreciated .

    It might be easier if you write the thing out as sentences. Whose idea was it to set it out that way?

    Children have to be made to understand that being pulled up for scoring low marks, reprimanded for a certain behaviour or criticised in front of the class is something that happens to anyone - a regular part of school life - because most of the time they begin to think "why me?"

    I believe Ray was suggesting that YOU do that.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
