    Default Proceedings, Prosecution and trial

Please explain the meaning of 1, Proceedings 2,Prosecution and 3, Trial with reference to Court & Law.
I searched my dictionaries a lot but in vain to pick up their proper meanings.

    Regards

Could you post defintions of prosecution and trial that fail to bring out the meanings?

Jadoon 84: When I quickly looked these terms up in an online dictionary, in two cases the very first definitions given were those relating to "court & law", and in the third case it was the second definition given. I think 5jj is suggesting that you could do this yourself, and if the definitions still trouble you then post them here and someone will be able to help you.
