Can you help me to correct any error in the paragraph?

Just a suggestion for the time card submission.

After a contractor submitting the weekly time, if the system can alert the approver immediately and 
periodically until he finishes it, that would be great.

Sometimes the approver 
forgets it. 

It happens to me a few times and for last week. It is still not approved.

I think that the system can be improved.
