    Default Question about entertainment

Is it right that theater and stadium belong to "entertaining facilities"?
What else words can express the same meaning as entertaining facilities?

I'm not sure the words as follows:
    recreational facilities. (appliances)

entertainment or entertaining activities (or other words?)

    entertainment company ,

And does social service(s?) include medical care( other words) and education?

There are still many basic issues that we should pay more attention to.
There are still many basic issues to which we should pay more attention.

Which one is better or is there a better expression?

And this kind of funds can be accumulated by means of the investment of corporation or other social groups. To take, for example, soccer clubs build stadiums and entertainment companies build theatres.

    Can this sentence work?

    Thanks

Say entertainment facilities. (It's where entertainment takes place, but the facilities themselves don't do any entertaining.)

A recreational facility is a place where recreation takes place, for example a gymnasium or a natatorium (indoor swimming pool).

Those can mean the same thing.

Social services don't include medical care or education.

They mean the same thing. Neither is better.

Sir, then what words can represent " medical care" and "education"?

Is it right if i use "the public service"?

And build entertainment facilities (theater or stadium) . In this expression, can i use "set up" to take the place of "build" ? or Is there some other words able to express "build"? For example, "construct?"

Sir, I guess i have to say thanks to you every day afterwards. You're really something.
    Thanks a billion.

You can say construct instead of build. Instead of education you can say instruction, but I am not sure if that is what you are looking for. I suppose instead of medical care. you can say medical treatment.

I wouldn't use public service for either medical care or eduction.

    :)

You can't use 'set up' there- 'set up' is starting a company in the sense of the legal papers, not the physical building.

    Thank you all very much.

Then please help me to learn a work which can represent "medical treatment and education investment" (maybe).

That's very common to use in essay. But I don't know how to express it.

Hmm, all of them are mainly invested by the government. Could you have some ideas then?

Thanks. Btw, what else words I can use to show my gratitude? Both oral words and written words are ok.

I can use oral words to ass-kiss my oral examiner maybe.

I don't know that there is a word that means medical treatment and investment in education. Why do you need to find one?

I don't know what "invested by the government" means. :?

Thanks. Btw, what else words I can use to show my gratitude? Both oral words and written words are ok.
    Say:

    • What other words can I use?

    Thanks is fine.

I can use oral words to ass-kiss my oral examiner maybe.
Perhaps that would work, but I wouldn't recommend it.

(I see that you have picked up some American slang.)

Xixi, who knows that. I'm afraid if I don't know a lot about British manner, i maybe unconciously offend my exminer.
The result in oral test is very subjective more than others.

Btw, do you think it will be fine if i use "community service"? which i learn from the essay of other guy here.

And in china, there is no private hospital and most of schools are in the possession of the government.

You will never feel bored just to hear thanks, Sir?
Once i finish my exam, I will find some words from the TV of "FRIENDS" to give you all surprises.
    Heihei. (Chinese vicious smile)

The term community service is used to mean service that benefits the community as a whole.

I don't get bored on this forum, because people keep asking questions that tax my brain.
