    Default general question

    Hey ;)

    Can I say:

"If I catch him next time (at? or by? doing sth) , I will tell him off" ?

Can I use this sentence? Or do you habe a better suggestion?

    Thanks!

"If I catch him doing that again, I will tell him off" or "Next time I catch him doing that, I will tell him off".

You can also drop the "doing this" part. It's implied in "if I catch him again", IMO.

    I agree with Charlie.

Tip for a better title: If I catch him next time.

Yes, as long as you always capitalize "I" as well as the first word in every sentence!

I don't like the combination of "If I catch him" with "next time". I would use one or the other:]

    - If I catch him watching TV without permission again, I will ...
    - (The) next time I catch him watching TV without permission, I will ...

In post #6 you promised to remember to capitalise the first word of every sentence. What happened?
