    NOT A TEACHER

I may be alone, but I find the title quite misleading. As for the sentence:

The IPO will make billionaires of the company's founders.
It is just 'will', which denotes future time.

Your title does not help us to know what you are asking. What is your question?

Facebook is the world's biggest social network. It has over nine hundred million users worldwide. And it reported $3.7 billion in sales for last year. The company has been privately held since two thousand four. That was when Mark Zuckerberg and several classmates at Harvard University started Facebook as a business. But on May eighteenth, Facebook becomes a publicly traded company. That means its shares will be listed on the NASDAQ stock market, and sold to the public. Interest in the stock kept building after Facebook announced details of its initial public offering, or IPO, earlier this year. The IPO will make billionaires of the company's founders, including Mr. Zuckerberg

It has "out" or not, hasn't ?The IPO will make billionaires of the company's founders, including Mr. Zuckerberg
The IPO will make billionaires out of the company's founders, including Mr. Zuckerberg

    Hello, chelsea92.
Both ('make A of B' and 'make A out of B') are possible in my opinion.
Please wait for other (native speakers') responses.

"It will make billionaires of the company's founders" is much more natural than "... make billionaires out of the company's founders".

For me "to make out of" is used when you are talking about the ingredients or materials used to make something inanimate ("the statue is made out of marble", "the cake is made out of all natural ingredients").

When talking about a person becoming something else due to an external influence, I would stick with "make ... of ..."

Winning an Olympic gold will make a celebrity of Jennifer Evans.
Watching a training video will make an even better photographer of my flatmate.
Winning the lottery will make millionaires of ordinary people.
