Default The noun for the verb retell

    Hello.

Is there a noun for the verb retell? Is it retelling?
The context would be as following, 'My first retelling wasn't good'.

    Thanks,
    Alex.

Default Re: The noun for the verb retell

    The noun "retelling" is fine.

My funny story didn't sound so funny in the retelling.
The retelling of my story elicited a lot of laughter.
