I am writing to Humber University in Canada to ask for additional information about the required qualifications to apply for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; as my country is not listed on their website.
But I'm quite puzzled and I'm not sure what exactly to write.

This is the only thing I could come up with, can someone please edit it to make it look more formal and acceptable?
Many thanks.

Dear Sir,

I would like to apply for a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Humber, yet my country isn't listed in the step by step process.
I would be much thankful if you could provide additional information about the level of education required to apply at Humber for Egyptians.

Yours sincerely,

Yours sincerely,

Welcome to the forums, Omar. Your text is pretty good as it is, I have made a couple of suggestions.

Say "very thankful" not "much thankful".

I sent it with "very thankful".
What's the difference between the two? For all I know, very thankful is more formal.

Native speakers say 'very thankful', not 'much thankful'.

You could also say 'Thank you very much' or 'Thanks very much'.
