    Question Give rise to

Is it correct to write "Swift review can give our journal rise to become popular among researches"?

    Thanks in advance,

    Re: Give rise to

It would have to be 'give rise to our journal being popular', but that's a dog's dinner of a phrase to me. I'd just use 'can make our journal popular' or 'cause our journal to become'...

Ok, it's clear. However, in what situations (in general) you use 'give rise to'? Is it often used?
