    Default raise our spirits

    What does this "spirits" mean? "courage" or "feelings"?

    ex)As a police officer, I've often been asked : "What is the best thing about your job?" With so many police interactions with the public being so negative, every so often special things happen that truly raise our spirits...(He helped a family in hard times without asking the help of the police)
