    To stand at odds with

Hi, what does the following sentence mean?
"John's findings stand at odds with the results of Jack."

I suppose that it means that John's results are opposite to those of Jack. (It's from Reuters.)

Yes- 'at odds with' implies a conflict or disagreement.
