    dash

Today, when I look at the unbelievable company that I have the great honor of being a part of, not only as member, but as a dance captain, I see a tradition that has inspired not only generations of little girls but a splendid company that continues to develop and grow and inspires people every day to follow their dreams.

What does traditon refer to here? Does it refer to the part following the dash punctuation, inspires people every day to follow their dreams?

    Thanks for your help.

The company has a tradition that has inspired girls for generations in the past, and because the company continues to develop and grow, it keeps on inspiring people today.

No, the tradition is not explained. It's just mentioned as an inspiration for many little girls, a splendid company, and other people.
