"Thou art the man!" means what? Sorry, I am not familiar with Old English.

"Thou art the man!" means what? Sorry, I am not familiar with Old English.

It means "You are the man!"

'Thou art' is not an example of Old English, but Early Modern English — sometimes called 'Biblical English'.
