    Subject verb agreement

    A sandwich and some apple juice 'is' or 'are' for me. Pls help...

    I would use "is". You said "A sandwich", meaning one. Also with "some apple juice" I would use is (Is there some apple juice for me?).

    But your question is more about having two subjects before the verb. Shall you use "are" therefore? I wouldn't do it as it transfers to me as if you had said "This is for me.".
