    drop

He said, "I will never get retired. I keep working until I drop!"
Does he mean "until I die"? Or something else?

Yes; it's short for "drop dead".
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....

He either said "I will never get tired" or "I will never retire". He didn't say "I will never get retired" (or it's a typo).
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
