    Is this sentence nativelike?

    Hi
    Would you help me make this sentence more nativelike?

    Language as a social phenomenon is always changing under the influence of different
    factors among the most important of which are gender, age and education as
    social variables.

    Are "gender, age and education" "different factors" or are they "social variables"? It seems as if you are identifying them twice.

    Try writing it as two sentences.

    Language as a social phenomenon is always changing under the influence of different
    factors. Gender, age and education as social variables are among the most important factors which affect language.

    That's better. I still don't know what purpose "as social variables" serves in the sentence. It would read just fine without it.

    I want to focus that gender, age and education are social variables.
    I want to say social variables affect language.
    Social variables are among keywords in my research.
