    (to) call

    Is not only "to call" but also "call" possible in this structure? It seems so as "to rest"'s "to" makes a common relationship.

    ex)He decided not only to rest but also (to) call his friends.

    I would be quite happy if the second "to" was omitted. It's optional.
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
