    Hello,

    Can you tell me which of the following sentences is the correct one?

    He was singing in front of the public.
    He was singing before the public.

    "He was singing in public" would solve your dilemma.

    I would say "He was singing in front of an audience".
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
