Which of the clauses below are correct ones and which are incorrect ones?
1) It got cold. It went cold.
2) Don't go crazy. Don't get crazy.
3) The weather got bad. The weather went bad.
4) It's getting worse. It's going worse.
Could anyone tell me about using "get" and "go" as linking verbs?
When should one use "get" and when "go"?
And what about sentences #3 and #4? Are they both correct? Do the sentences in each couple have the same meaning?
