    I can tell you from experience that having a book in your hand and a cat on the edge of the tub is a bad combination. Well, actually, it's fine as long as the cat stays on the edge. Things tend to go wrong when the cat is clumsy.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
