    Default Is this correct?

    Dear Forum Users,

Could anyone please help which of the following is grammatical:

    1. X has the same effect on an individual as Y.
    2. X has the same effect on an individual as Y has.
    3. X has the same effect on an individual as Y does.

I would choose the first option.

    Thank you.

    Csika
