Is this a natural sentence?

As he works hard so he gets first position each time.

No, and I'm not even sure what you're trying to say. Can you try to explain it differently?

Alex works hard as a result he wins first position every time in the class.
Now

As Alex works hard so he wins first position every time in the class.

As Alex works hard so he wins first position every time in the class.

For that meaning, you need to remove "so" and it's fine construction-wise. The wording could do with tweaking.

As Alex works hard, he wins first position in the class. (Your wording.)
As Alex works, hard, he's always top of the class. (My re-wording.)
