    What is the correct usage, 'Kept me updated' or 'Kept I updated'

    To put it in the past tense, you need to add a word "He kept me updated", "They kept me updated". As a request, order, directive, then it's "Keep me updated".
    Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
