Hello. Sorry for silly question, but i'd like to ask - if somebody in a conversation said he can't think of any good word to tell you, but "miasma" - is it insulting? (if you were a bit cheeky too at the begining). What mood this word may convey? Person is annoyed, angry, is it playful or really insulting?

To say miasma in this context sounds rather strange. Perhaps the person has just discovered the meaning of the word and thinks it clever to use it in this way. It's not.
