hello everyone,

I have to build up funny sentences in the present simple tense with the following time expressions:

1. once in a while ( for example: Shrek washes his teeth once in a while)

2. every now and again

3. in general

4. several times a year

5. once a fortnight

Hello everyone,

I have to [STRIKE]build up[/STRIKE] write funny sentences in the present simple tense with the following time expressions:

1. once in a while ( for example: Shrek washes his teeth once in a while)

2. every now and again

3. in general

4. several times a year

5. once a fortnight
Have you written any yet? How do you understand "in general" to relate to time?

OK , Mr Smart! This is not Homework. I just need help.

I am going to do a funny activity with my students tomorrow and I need such kind of sentences. If you don't want to help, please don't comment!

Chicken Sandwich was pointing out the rules of this forum. I would expect a more adult response from a teacher than the one you posted here. Do not expect others to do your work for you. If you have written some sentences, post them here for comments.
