Default one vocabulary, phrasal word, phonics, grammar and idiom a day

    Dear all,

I have just made a studies plan to pick up / remember one vocabulary, phrasal word, grammar, phonics and idiom respectively. To make it effective, do you have a suggestion how should I start up with as I want to pick up those in common use instead of solely get a grammar book to follow through alphabetically. I understand not all of them are in common use.

Your kind information will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

(NB. I make a list of Grammar / Phonics / Word / Phrasal Word / Idiom of the day & post them on my working table to encourage myself to work hard)

What do you understand by 'phonics?'?

I don't think you should be so aggressive as to learn one vocabulary a day.

As a non-native English speaker, you should learn the language step by step.

By "one vocabulary, one phrasal word", do you mean "one word, one phrasal verb"?
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.

Yes, I mean one word. Shall I say vocabulary or word?

    Thank you.

Say 'word'. Here's the definition of 'vocabulary':

Concise Oxford English Dictionary 2008 Oxford University Press:
    vocabulary
    noun (pl. vocabularies)
    • 1 the body of words used in a particular language or in a particular sphere of activity.
    • ■ the body of words known to an individual person.
      ■ a list of difficult or foreign words with an explanation of their meanings.
