    Hello,

    Would you please tell me which sentence is correct, and why?

    May Ali, Mohamed, and the whole class succeed in its exam.
    May Ali, Mohamed, and the whole class succeed in their exam.

    May Algeria, Tunisia, and the whole African continent get its glory back.
    May Ageria, Tunisia, and the whole African continent get their glory back.

    Multiple people and multiple countries/places, so "their."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
