Default FCE reading part part 1

I am studying for the FCE and I was wondering about the reading part , part 1, if it is better to read questions first or read the text first ?

    thank you,

Default Re: FCE reading part part 1

It depends on what suits your way of working. I usually recommend that learners/candidates read the passage through fairly quickly to geta general idea of what the whole thing is about. If they read the questions first, they may be subconsciously trying to look for the answers, and this may lead them into the traps the examiner has set for them.
